📋 Description

• Express medical specifications as data queries using software language accessible to non-technical individuals • Research and write simplified healthcare code for eCQMs and CDS-Hooks • Research FHIR healthcare data models, CQL healthcare logic expressions, and healthcare definitional models • Design test plans to ensure code generates correct FHIR data • Generate sample data to exercise test plans and criteria • Document, maintain, and publish results in FHIR Implementation Guides • Collaborate with healthcare specialists, clinicians, and terminologists to understand requirements and test implementations • Provide expert feedback on prior authorization policies, including complexity, scope, and effort analysis • Identify and capture best practices and lessons learned • Maintain the confidentiality, privacy, and integrity of company information • Comply with company privacy, security, and confidentiality policies

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a clinical informaticist, data scientist, software developer or another relevant role • Healthcare technology experience is required • Experience with Clinical Decision Support algorithms is preferred • Experience with Clinical Quality measures is highly preferred • Prior Authorization Adjudication Algorithms experience is beneficial • Experience with FHIR is highly preferred • Experience with query language(s), such as SQL, would be considered an asset • Post-Secondary education in computer science or a related field of study or comparable related work experience • Excellent computer literacy skills and abilities • Strong collaborative and verbal and written communication skills • Proven creative problem-solving and critical thinking with strong analytical skills and attention to detail • High level of self-motivation, drive, and enthusiasm coupled with integrity and professionalism • Experience in programming and/or programming tools is preferred, but not required
