📋 Description

• Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfaction • Install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field • Provide customer training as required • Document inspections, maintenance, and repair work and submit paperwork timely • Order, install, and return parts and manage repair parts cycle time • Review logs for open issues and prepare formal customer reports • Participate in Service Sales opportunities and support revenue programs • Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment • Assess product and equipment performance and recommend modifications or improvements • Provide technical support to customers and other service professionals • Participate in site surveys, pilot service activities, and meetings • Maintain business communication and relationships with senior FSEs and Product Managers • Control and minimize costs • Travel to customer locations, including airports, correctional facilities, courthouses, and cruise ships • Comply with company health, safety, environmental, export control, and security regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s Degree, related trade certification in electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields, or military training in electrical, mechanical, or electronics • Equivalence through 1–3 years of comparative work and life experience in a related electrical or mechanical field service role is acceptable • Minimum 1–3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment in the field • Computer literacy and competency with all programs in the MS Office Suite • Aptitude for learning specialized software programs • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and telephone skills • Strong customer focus and teamwork orientation • Responsiveness to customer issues at all times • Willingness and ability to travel at short notice • Basic technical knowledge of Trace and X-Ray technologies • Ability to lift/carry 80 lbs • Ability to push/pull 200 lbs • Ability to move/manipulate equipment weighing up to 1,000 lbs with appropriate devices • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, and work in unusual positions • Ability to work safely in extreme environments and around dangerous industrial equipment • Successful TSA Sensitive Security Information (SSI) vetting and federal background investigation if required • U.S. Personal Security Clearance may be required • Compliance with applicable U.S. export control and security regulations • Consent to drug testing where permitted by law
