📋 Description

• Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfaction • Install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field • Provide customer training as required • Document inspections, maintenance, and repair work and submit paperwork promptly • Order, install, and return parts and manage repair-parts cycle time • Review logs for open issues and prepare formal customer reports • Participate in service sales opportunities and support revenue programs • Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment • Assess equipment performance using field-support data and recommend improvements • Provide technical support to customers and other service professionals • Participate in site surveys, pilot service activities, and meetings as needed • Maintain business communication and relationships with senior FSEs and Product Managers • Control and minimize costs • Travel daily to customer locations in and around the Detroit Metro area, including Detroit airport • Comply with health, safety, environmental, export-control, and security regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s Degree, related trade certification, or military training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical disciplines • 1–3 years of related electrical or mechanical field-service experience may substitute for the education requirement • 1–3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment in the field • Computer literacy and proficiency with all programs in the MS Office Suite • Aptitude for learning specialized software programs • Basic technical knowledge of Trace and X-Ray technologies • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong customer-focus and teamwork orientation • Responsiveness to customer issues • Willingness and ability to travel at short notice • Ability to work overtime and hours other than Monday–Friday when required • Must successfully pass TSA vetting and a federal background investigation if SSI access is required • U.S. Personal Security Clearance may be required • Ability to lift/carry 80 lbs • Ability to push/pull 200 lbs • Ability to move/manipulate equipment weighing up to 1,000 lbs using assistive devices • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, turn, and work in unusual positions • Ability to work safely in extreme environments around dangerous industrial equipment • Compliance with company health, safety, environmental, export-control, and security regulations • Willingness to submit to drug testing as permitted by law
