• Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfaction • Install, repair, and maintain field equipment • Provide customer training as required • Document inspections, maintenance, and repair work and submit paperwork promptly • Order, install, and return parts while managing repair-parts cycle time • Review logs for open issues and prepare customer reports • Participate in Service Sales opportunities and revenue programs • Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment • Assess equipment performance and recommend modifications or improvements • Provide technical support to customers and other service professionals • Participate in site surveys, pilot service activities, and meetings • Maintain communication with senior Field Service Engineers and Product Managers • Control and minimize costs • Comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies • Comply with applicable U.S. export control and security regulations
• Associate’s Degree, related trade certification, or military training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields • Equivalence through 1–3 years of comparative work and life experience is acceptable in a related electrical or mechanical field service role • Minimum 1–3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment in the field • Computer literacy and competency with all programs in the MS Office Suite • Aptitude for learning specialized software programs • Basic technical knowledge of Trace and X-Ray technologies • Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus and teamwork orientation • Responsiveness to customer issues at all times • Willingness and ability to travel at short notice • Ability to pass TSA vetting and a federal background investigation for Sensitive Security Information access • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, telephone, and customer service skills • Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations • Self-motivated, reliable, and accountable • Ability to lift/carry 80 lbs. • Ability to push/pull 200 lbs. • Ability to move/manipulate equipment weighing up to 1,000 lbs. with assistance from specified devices • Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, twisting, turning, and work in unusual positions • Ability to work safely in extreme environments around dangerous industrial equipment • Must comply with drug-testing requirements where permitted by law
