📋 Description

• Participate in suicide and crisis intervention training • De-escalate individuals in crisis using best practices in suicidology, empathy, and good contact techniques • Connect individuals in crisis to appropriate resources • Maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality/privacy • Provide de-escalation and support through a text-based service • Collaborate with Crisis Counselor Supervisors on necessary external intervention • Adhere to training and clinical policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Enrollment in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or General Studies with a concentration in these areas • Current enrollment in classes as part of an SNHU degree program • Work study as part of the financial aid package • 18 years of age • Must complete and pass a background check • Must have your own laptop/desktop computer with reliable internet
