📋 Description

• Manage client invoicing, accounts receivable, and cash receipt processing • Process vendor invoices and execute accounts payable • Coordinate contractor payments • Support and process payroll • Review and process employee expenses and reimbursements • Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations • Prepare and post journal entries and support prepaid and accrual accounting • Support month-end close and financial reporting • Investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate transaction recording • Maintain records in QuickBooks Online • Maintain and update financial forecasts and reporting in Google Sheets • Ensure financial data consistency across systems • Maintain and improve financial system integrations • Troubleshoot issues and improve accounting workflows • Support implementation of new financial systems and processes • Maintain the Finance Drive and audit-ready documentation • Maintain clear accounting processes and documentation • Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, organization, and efficiency • Collaborate with Snowball stakeholders and clients while increasing autonomy across day-to-day accounting operations

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of hands-on accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience • Strong accounting fundamentals and understanding of the monthly accounting cycle • Experience across multiple areas of accounting • Hands-on experience with account reconciliations and month-end close • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable • Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online or a comparable accounting system • Strong Google Sheets or Excel skills • Excellent attention to detail and high bar for accuracy • Highly organized and able to manage recurring deadlines • Curious and comfortable investigating problems • Proactive and willing to identify problems and propose solutions • Positive and collaborative • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving remote environment
