📋 Description

• Manage dispatch functions for crisis line services • Facilitate, track, and ensure dispatch of mobile crisis teams, crisis transportation, specialty program clinicians, hospital assessors, and other business partners • Receive and dispatch teams/clinicians timely and effectively • Provide concise and accurate information while maintaining awareness of team/clinician needs and safety • Maintain tracking logs and create reports when business needs dictate • Document dispatch and related interactions in the electronic health record and tracking logs • Adhere to call center policies and procedures • Participate in required training and supervision • Answer and screen incoming crisis requests when business needs dictate • Respond to incoming calls and dispatch-service requests • Complete outbound calls, emails, texts, or chats to coordinate care and resolve crisis situations • Screen incoming requests and contacts from first responders • Provide backup for other Contact Center staff • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• GED/High School diploma, required • Must meet the following BHPP education and experience requirements: six weeks of behavioral health work experience/dispatch experience, skills and knowledge required to provide behavioral health services, and an Associate’s degree, a High school diploma, or equivalency • 1-2 years of Dispatch, contact center, or emergency services experience preferred • Ability to operate computer systems and use multiple computer screens simultaneously • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills • Strong knowledge of community resources and systems • Ability to act professionally and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and staff • Effective engagement skills; ability to inspire hope and promote recovery and resiliency • Effective documentation skills • Stable and secure private home internet with minimum 50Mbps download, 5Mbps upload, and average jitter less than 20% of latency • Ability to hear and speak; required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, plus ability to adjust focus • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
