📋 Description

• Draft, edit, and proofread press releases, media pitches, newsletters, talking points, and organizational announcements • Maintain press lists, media contact databases, and coverage tracking logs • Support media relations through pitch distribution, coverage monitoring, and media reports • Develop and distribute press materials for initiatives, campaigns, and partner announcements • Coordinate logistics for press events, speaking engagements, and organizational activations • Provide on-site or virtual event support and serve as a media and guest contact • Prepare executive communications materials, including bios, briefing documents, and presentation content • Maintain consistency of brand voice and messaging • Conduct research for media pitching, story development, and competitive landscape monitoring • Manage internal communications calendars and track project timelines and deliverables • Collaborate with marketing, program, and business development teams

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field • Strong writing portfolio demonstrating experience with press materials, editorial content, or organizational communications • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills • Exceptional attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Proactive and resourceful approach • Clear and professional communication • Experience supporting events, media relations efforts, or executive communications preferred • Familiarity with media monitoring tools and contact databases such as Cision or Muck Rack is a plus • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Familiarity with project management tools preferred • Passion for social impact, product philanthropy, and purpose-driven work • Valid driver's license
