📋 Description

• Perform month-end closing processes, including recording journal entries and variance analysis • Assist with accounting policies and financial statement integrity by reviewing accounts and reconciling differences • Collaborate with accounting and cross-functional teams on accruals, reserves, prepaid positions, fixed assets, and right-of-use assets • Conduct monthly reconciliations for inventory, freight, bad debt, rebates, and taxes • Prepare schedules, requests, and information for internal and external audits • Prepare intercompany reconciliations, cross charges, and elimination entries • Run trial balances and analyze GL accounts during close • Support cash management, bank interactions, and cash-position forecasting • Apply GAAP accounting principles • Support new-hire training and onboarding and document processes • Manage sales tax certificates in SOVOS and reconcile tax accounts • Account for fixed-asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation • Establish, write, and document policies and improve processes • Handle day-to-day accounting operations, validate coding, and determine accounting treatment • Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to work Eastern Standard Time • Familiarity with basic business principles, corporate structures, accounting standards, and financial statements • Ability to review and interpret general ledger accounts • Acute attention to detail • Commitment to excellence and high standards • High level of organizational skills • Ability to respond courteously and promptly to upper management or business inquiries • Excellent communication and follow through skills • Professional demeanor when representing the Company • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to act as a change agent with leadership and relevant stakeholders • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm • Flexible and innovative team player • Self-motivated and able to collaborate with others as well as work independently • Ability to adhere to deadlines and shift priorities when needed • Good communication skills and ability to explain accounting concepts in simple language to diverse audiences • Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business field with 3-5 years’ experience • Proficient in Excel and Word • ERP experience
