The company designs and manufactures modular battery banks (S4, S8, S12) that store solar energy for residential use, provide backup power during outages, and enable grid-export of excess generation. Soluna emphasizes safety features, intelligent power management, and high round-trip efficiency to reduce utility costs and support off-grid or grid-tied solar systems.

📋 Description

• Develop and evaluate commercial structures for customer partnerships and joint ventures, owning deal terms and economic outcomes • Lead negotiations with counterparties and coordinate with legal and technical teams through closing • Build and maintain financial models to assess transaction economics and risk across deal structures • Drive financial and strategic analysis for M&A, asset acquisitions, and divestitures • Build DCF, precedent, and comparable transaction models independently • Coordinate diligence, prepare investment memos, and lead integration planning • Originate and evaluate new site opportunities for modular data centers across North America • Assess interconnection, permitting, and market conditions for go/no-go decisions • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and power marketing teams to optimize project design and returns

🎯 Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, project finance, or strategy within energy, infrastructure, or data centers • Strong command of financial modeling, valuation, and transaction structuring • Proven ability to independently manage complex deal processes from analysis through execution • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Capability to engage directly with senior leadership and external partners • Curiosity about renewable energy and AI infrastructure • Preferred MBA, CFA, or similar credential • Experience in greenfield project development, including permitting and interconnection
