📋 Description

• Provide direct technical supervision of one or more teams developing HIS products, including Developers and Quality Assurance • Hire staff, establish and track goals and objectives, assign workload, provide training, and facilitate performance reviews • Assist the Technical Product Owner with delivering HIS grouping content on the existing technology stack while architecting and developing a replacement stack • Set technical direction and prioritize and update the team backlog with Tech Leads • Mentor development staff in analysis, software design, prototyping, coding, debugging, test creation and automation, documentation, support, and infrastructure maintenance • Participate on cross-functional teams and coordinate with Product Owners, Business Leaders, Developers, and others • Champion Agile principles throughout the organization • Create an atmosphere of innovation and enable professional growth • Own conflict and change management to ensure productivity • Develop software products used to group, edit, and reimburse healthcare claims and improve healthcare quality • Required to travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding during initial employment days

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a Computer Science or Information Systems discipline from an accredited university • Five (5) years of software development experience • Three (3) years of team leadership experience (supervisor, manager, team lead) • Experience in a supervisory role • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Experience with Generative AI, MCP, and Agentic workflows • Experience with consuming web services and web application development (SOAP/REST, Javascript/Angular) • Experience with CI/CD • Experience with Java software development • Familiarity with SQL and relational database design • Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working with distributed team members • Ability to solve problems in a logical, methodical, and time efficient manner • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
