📋 Description

• Serve as subject matter expert for specialty classes and oversee course content in designated specialty tracks • Participate in systematic quality review of curriculum updates and changes related to national accreditors and South College initiatives • Meet collaboratively weekly one-on-one with the Associate Dean to review operations, curriculum development, faculty, and student issues • Develop adjunct faculty through formal communications and program development and implementation addressing identified issues • Collaborate with the Associate Dean and Administrative Coordinator on student preparation for practicum, preceptor credentialing, preceptor changes, and student, preceptor, or site challenges • Review all student preceptor assignments for practicum • Conduct quarterly virtual site reviews for clinical partners and facilities • Participate in interviews for new adjunct faculty • Review new admissions requiring oversight • Attend and participate in bimonthly Program Coordinator meetings aligned with departmental strategic plans • Initiate, write, and oversee curriculum changes with the program curriculum team and instructional design team • Coordinate course resources to enhance learning and improve student outcomes • Communicate weekly with adjuncts regarding specialty areas, faculty performance standards, and technology updates

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate/Terminal degree in discipline • 3 years direct supervisory experience in an academic institution • Preference given to those with multi-campus leadership experience • Proven subject matter expert for program of assignment • In exceptional cases, experience may be considered in lieu of academic credentials; detailed documentation of experience is required • Current, unencumbered RN license required • Current national certification in the specialty area aligned with the program of instruction required • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification required for the FNP program • Documentation of all applicable licenses and certifications must be maintained and current • Faculty teaching in advanced practice nursing programs must maintain certification and clinical expertise consistent with the population focus of the program
