📋 Description

• Review simple to complex residential property evaluations, validations, and appraisals • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, code of conduct, and regulatory guidelines • Assist with appraisal procurement and ordering • Perform appraisal and evaluation report reviews for bank policy compliance • Perform validations and in-house evaluations as needed • Assist with regulatory examinations and internal audits • Help update bank appraisal policies and bulletins • Support bank employees and appraisers with appraisal-related inquiries and issues • Train bank employees and appraisal team members on appraisal materials and systems • Monitor the appraisal pipeline and resolve related request and review problems • Oversee appraisal requests and assess fee appraiser and reviewer skill levels and fee quotes • Assist with implementing appraisal department technology and software • Liaise with employees through positive interactions • Participate in marketing efforts • Maintain professional skills through training and cross-training • Perform other duties as directed by management

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent prior work experience • Minimum 3 years in an appraisal or appraisal review related field • Strong residential appraisal experience/knowledge required • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and other department software • Knowledge of USPAP, FIRREA, OCC, HVCC, and FNMA/FHLMC appraisal guidelines and regulations • State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser preferred, but not required • Appraisal Institute courses including Basic Appraisal Principles, Basic Appraisal Procedures, and USPAP 15-hour course completed or willingness to complete shortly • Basic English language skills required • Ability to prioritize and organize assignments • Ability to learn new software programs • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Must be organized, accurate, detail-oriented, cooperative, patient, and able to multitask under pressure • Ability to work seated or standing at a computer for at least four hours daily • Ability to use hands and fingers constantly for computer data entry or phone answering during most of an eight-hour shift • Ability to hear and communicate with coworkers and customers throughout the day • Willingness to work in a professional business office environment and as a team member • Travel may be required for meetings • Telecommuters must have a secure, distraction-free home office and private non-cellular internet connection
