📋 Description

• To safely and expediently inject underground cables for rejuvenation. • Work safely with no electrical contact incidents or personal injuries • Enhance and advance a below zero incident safety culture and behavior • Responsible for the safety of all people at a worksite • Operate TDR waveform and RF locating equipment to perform cable testing and analysis of cable paths, splice locations and neutral corrosion • Place and operate cable injection equipment on de-energized cables in transformers, switchgear, junction boxes, and at other end points • Perform air flow tests • Prepare cable for injection activities (per customer requirements) • Inject URD and underground feeder cables with Novinium patented repair/rejuvenation fluids • Provide field service and set up injection equipment • Assist Team Leader with job planning and hazard avoidance • May coordinate injection and digging activities • Maintain rolling stock and equipment • Provide positive customer service

🎯 Requirements

• Background in construction, with experience in an electric utility environment preferred • Safe work record and a firm commitment to safety • Valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record • CDL preferred • Passport and ability to travel to Canada preferred
