📋 Description

• Execute announcements and manage music playback for each performance • Communicate schedule changes and PSAs to keep attendees informed • Provide engaging dialogue and professional representation as the voice of Spotlight Events, Inc. • Collaborate with the Stage Manager to maintain smooth performance order • Manage client music files for optimum playback quality • Ensure proper setup and functionality of analog mixing consoles, microphones, and speaker systems • Attend live dance competitions and support event operations during the January–July event season • Travel to regional and potentially national events

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience in live announcing, event hosting, theater, or performance (Required) • Experience setting up and operating live audio equipment (Preferred) • Experience in the Dance, Sports or Performing Arts space (Preferred) • Strong reading and public speaking skills (Required) • Knowledge of audio playback or live audio mixing on analog consoles (Preferred) • Ability to troubleshoot live audio and computer systems (Preferred) • Ability to multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor (Required) • Demonstrated ability working in a collaborative environment with a team (Required) • Must reside within reasonable proximity to a U.S. international airport or hub • Travel is required during the event season (January–July) • Ability to attend approximately 6–10 regional events each year, typically lasting 3–5 days • Possibility of attending 1–2 national events lasting 6–8 days • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and set up equipment • Comfortable sharing hotel accommodations with same-gender colleagues during event assignments • All new/first year event staff are required to attend an audition and training session in Eagle, Idaho
