📋 Description

• Set up, test, and maintain stage, audio, video, lighting, and computer systems • Troubleshoot technical systems across performance spaces and retail areas • Coordinate with staging and lighting vendors to ensure proper configuration • Partner with venue staff to meet technical requirements for space and equipment • Support security and ensure a safe event environment • Manage truck loading and unloading and assist with staff meal procurement • Capture and audit critique videos during events, ensuring accurate backups • Provide occasional support as Announcer or Video Specialist as scheduled • Manage crew meal logistics, including menu selection and ordering • Travel to and support live dance events throughout the event season • Collaborate with vendors, venue staff, and fellow event personnel to ensure reliable, high-quality technical execution

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience in technical support, live production, or event AV setups • Training or education in theater technology, broadcasting, or related fields (Preferred) • Experience with lighting, audio, and multimedia systems in live-event environments (Preferred) • Experience in technical theater, broadcasting, or film/TV, with knowledge of lighting, sound, and media workflows • Proficiency in mixing live audio on analog consoles and managing microphones • Basic networking and computer troubleshooting experience • Familiarity with video systems and software • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and MS Office Suite • Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure • Must reside within reasonable proximity to a U.S. international airport or hub • Ability to travel frequently during the event season (January–July) • Ability to attend approximately 6–10 regional events annually and potentially 1–2 national events • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and set up equipment • Comfortable sharing hotel accommodations with same-gender colleagues during event assignments • All new/first year event staff are required to attend an audition and training session in Eagle, Idaho, typically January 4th–8th
