• Perform daily machine inspections, including fluids, wear parts, tires, glass, and general machinery condition • Immediately report equipment issues and required maintenance • Safely and productively operate assigned heavy machinery • Adapt to changing traffic, soil, and weather conditions • Utilize GPS systems and read grade stakes and hubs for grade control and finishing • Manage materials during excavation, loading, placement, grading, and utility installation • Travel continuously to project sites across multiple states and remain at assignments for extended periods • Labor and assist the crew as needed
• 3 years’ experience operating heavy earthmoving equipment, including motor grader, scraper, dozer, or excavator • 1 year of industry-specific related equipment operation experience • Must be willing to labor and help the crew • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with employees, clients, contractors, and vendors • Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory • Willingness and flexibility to travel continuously and work at project sites across multiple states • Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug test
