📋 Description

• Support the evolution of core clinical programs and help develop new care programs • Lead execution and quality improvement of medication management and other organizational programs • Ensure ethical, safe, and well-designed use of AI tools in provider care delivery across mental health care • Represent Spring Health clinically with health plans, large employer clients, sales and partnership conversations, and complex customer discussions • Act as a senior change leader on complex and strategic initiatives, ensuring clinical clarity, alignment, adoption, and reinforcement of company culture and values • Support the Chief Medical Officer in leading the Medical Affairs team • Drive clinical quality improvement, build care-delivery programs, accelerate AI integration into care services, and provide external thought leadership • Improve clinical outcomes, care appropriateness, quality metrics, care-delivery efficiency, and customer satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• Board-certified psychiatrist (MD/DO) • 15+ years of clinical care experience • 10+ years of leadership experience in mental health care, leading clinics, providers, care operations, or other activities • Ability to manage and influence senior leaders internally and externally • Proven effective cross-functional leadership at VP or senior level in a high-growth, fast-paced organization • Strong people-leadership ability with executives, peers, direct reports, and other team members • Ability to translate clinical nuance into scalable processes • Hands-on leadership approach and willingness to engage directly at all levels • Strong clinical grounding with adaptability and ability to balance clinical rigor with pragmatism • Comfort with ambiguity and accountability, including willingness to be on-call for high-stakes situations • Nice to have: 5+ years leading care activities and guiding product design and development within the digital mental health ecosystem • Nice to have: understanding and clinical experience with psychotherapy modalities • Nice to have: understanding of measurement-based care and implementation challenges at scale across provider groups • Nice to have: familiarity with internal AI enablement tools and change management methodologies
