📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions • Use Motivational Interviewing, CBT for SUD, relapse prevention, and harm reduction strategies • Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments covering severity, readiness for change, recovery supports, co-occurring conditions, and safety risks • Develop person-centered ASAM-informed treatment plans • Recommend appropriate levels of care and make clinically indicated referrals • Support members across all stages of recovery, including active use, ambivalence, and return to use • Collaborate with medication managers, Specialty Care Navigators, and Peer Recovery Specialists • Monitor member progress through measurement-based care and data-driven clinical decision-making • Provide counseling sessions, clinical risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis intervention • Complete internal training and assignments and attend Clinical Team meetings • Follow confidentiality, compliance, ethical, and company standards • Review monthly projections, client metrics, and clinical outcomes to monitor care quality

🎯 Requirements

• Unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in Pennsylvania, New York, Texas, or California (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) • No licensed supervision requirement • 2+ years of post-licensed experience • Ability to work a full 40-hour work week • Technology comfort and virtual/telehealth competency • Ability and willingness to maintain an average caseload of 30 sessions per week • At least 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals with substance use disorders • SUD treatment must represent a meaningful portion of clinical practice • Training in Motivational Interviewing (MI/MET) and one or more evidence-based SUD interventions, such as CBT for SUD, relapse prevention, or contingency management • Comfort working with members across all stages of change, including active substance use, harm reduction, and abstinence-based recovery • Ability to assess substance use severity, relapse risk, withdrawal risk, recovery support, and need for higher levels of care • Understanding of medications for substance use disorders, including MAUD/MOUD • Ability to provide safety planning and intervention for higher-risk client situations • Commitment to quality clinical care and use of client progress information • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. • Must provide or obtain an NPI prior to employment
