📋 Description

• Disseminate data from medical records according to governing body rules, algorithms, and protocols • Continuously learn and adapt to registry and regulatory changes • Collaborate with internal team members and external vendors to ensure inter-rater reliability, data accuracy, and timely submission • Contribute to specialized committee or work group meetings supporting process improvements and patient outcomes • Identify process improvement opportunities and trends • Review and resolve clinical data discrepancies or outliers in completed abstracts • Communicate performance considerations and improvement opportunities to relevant parties • Report findings, opportunities, and trends to management • Extract facts from medical records, especially when documentation quality is uncertain • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience • One year experience in healthcare or related field • Knowledge of healthcare and data management • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy • Ability to complete assigned certifications and pass required exams • Strong written and oral communication skills • Logical and analytical problem-solving ability • Detail-oriented analysis and design skills • Ability to work independently and within a team environment • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a high-volume workload
