📋 Description

• Implement and monitor the organization’s quality assessment performance improvement (QAPI) program • Monitor and measure QAPI activities • Implement quality improvement activities using continuous quality improvement principles and methodologies • Conduct scheduled clinical record reviews and data collection • Compile, trend, and report quality data covering patient care, safety, risk management, infection control, outcomes, and customer satisfaction • Collaborate with the nursing department to ensure complete, consistent, and compliant documentation • Implement monitoring activities for safety, risk management, and infection control programs • Assist with mandatory OSHA safety and infection-control in-service programs • Advise staff on patient and staff safety and risk-management issues • Review incident reports for completeness, risk, standard-of-care determinations, and follow-up • Monitor compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including Medicare Conditions of Participation and CHAP standards • Participate in policy and procedure reviews and recommend changes to the Director of Quality Assurance • Serve as a resource to clinical staff regarding standards, policies, regulations, and nursing practice • Assist with patient visits as needed • Review medical records and live discharges for standards, appropriateness, and compliance • Complete required or self-identified medical-record audits • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of practice • 2+ years of nursing experience • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing • If driving: valid state driver’s license, access to an automobile in good working order, automobile insurance meeting state and organizational requirements, and an acceptable driving record • Ability to pass DHS background study • Ability to push/pull and lift/carry up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds • Ability to work prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Ability to adapt to varied work conditions in a home setting • Ability to travel • OSHA exposure category requirements as applicable
