📋 Description

• Plan IT audit projects, coordinate information-gathering meetings, and perform research • Propose audit approaches, objectives, programs, and test plans for IT Audit Manager approval • Perform audits in accordance with Institute of Internal Auditors standards and conduct follow-up activities • Conduct test work and document and conclude on work performed • Analyze processes, risks, and controls using narratives, flowcharts, and risk control matrices • Draft formal audit reports and presentations for the Board Audit Committee, management teams, and committees • Communicate with the IT Audit Manager and audit clients throughout projects • Develop and promote recommendations to address identified issues • Research business and control best practices • Maintain confidentiality and productive client and staff relationships

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent, or Associate’s degree with the specified experience and applicable certification alternative • Certified Information Systems Auditor required or must obtain within 2 years in the position • 3+ years of experience in IT internal auditing, or 5+ years of experience in IT internal auditing, Information Systems or Information Security for the associate-degree alternative • Applicable certification for the associate-degree alternative (CISSP, CISA, etc.) • Working knowledge of COBIT Framework, GAIT Principles, COSO Internal Control Integrated Framework, ISO 27000 series, NIST, PCI DSS, and NACHA • Knowledge of the nonprofit industry, including ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital • Proficient understanding of internal auditing concepts, approaches, tools and techniques • Proficient understanding of IT general controls, including security, change management, disaster recovery and backup, and infrastructure • Proficient understanding of Agile methodologies, cybersecurity, cloud, network architecture, IT governance, and IT risk management and assessment processes
