📋 Description

• Analyze data to identify opportunities for operational improvement • Design and optimize distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and warehouse operations • Conduct facility assessments, operational audits, and master planning studies • Evaluate process flows, staffing requirements, equipment alternatives, and facility layouts • Apply Lean principles and participate in continuous improvement initiatives • Create data models to evaluate potential operational changes and business outcomes • Develop presentations and communicate recommendations to clients • Research emerging technologies and industry trends • Support project teams with cost analyses, capital planning, and strategic recommendations • Contribute to client deliverables that drive measurable business results • Travel to client facilities and observe operations firsthand • Work with experienced consultants and industry leaders • Present findings and recommendations directly to clients

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities • High attention to detail • Curiosity and a passion for continuous improvement • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams • Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, engineering, or operations preferred • Lean Six Sigma certification or coursework preferred • Experience working with operational, manufacturing, or logistics data preferred • Exposure to warehouse, manufacturing, or supply chain environments preferred • Experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, AutoCAD, WMS, MES, or ERP systems such as SAP is a plus • Willingness to travel to client facilities
