📋 Description

• Serve as the primary analyst for MEDITECH Health Information Management applications, including design, configuration, implementation, maintenance, and optimization • Analyze, document, and support HIM workflows for compliant patient health information management • Configure and maintain MEDITECH HIM dictionaries, parameters, rules, forms, templates, and security settings • Collaborate with HIM leadership and end users to identify needs and develop system solutions • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, implementation, and post-go-live support • Troubleshoot applications, perform root cause analysis, resolve issues, and coordinate with vendors • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and validation activities for upgrades, patches, and system changes • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission standards, CMS requirements, state regulations, and organizational policies • Support electronic document management, scanning workflows, chart completion, deficiency management, release of information, and record retention • Monitor application performance and identify workflow improvement, automation, and standardization opportunities • Participate in MEDITECH upgrades, migrations, conversions, and new module implementations • Provide advanced support for interfaces and integrated systems affecting HIM operations • Create application documentation, workflow diagrams, support procedures, and knowledge base articles • Facilitate user training and mentor analysts, super users, and operational staff • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Clinical Informatics, Compliance, Privacy, IT Infrastructure, and vendors • Act as a subject matter expert for MEDITECH HIM applications and healthcare information management processes • Maintain regular and reliable attendance • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred • 10+ years’ experience with Meditech • Business mathematical skills, including rates, ratios, percentages, and graph interpretation • Advanced computer skills, including email and complex documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations • Moderately complex oral and written communication skills • Healthcare regulatory and compliance knowledge, including HIPAA • Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices • Ability to analyze varied and complex business problems • Ability to work independently with broad guidance • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship • Maintain required licensure, certification, and professional credentials, if applicable, in good standing
