⢠Identify opportunities where AI, computer vision, object detection, or visual language models can improve customer production processes ⢠Design and build proofs of concept to validate AI-enabled robotic solutions ⢠Create documentation, sample code, and integration guides ⢠Travel to customer sites to install, configure, and commission AI-enabled robotic cells ⢠Own camera placement and calibration, model deployment, I/O configuration, testing, and sign-off ⢠Troubleshoot on-site until deployments work successfully ⢠Train customer operators and engineers on AI capabilities ⢠Provide post-install technical support as customers develop new applications ⢠Feed deployment learnings back to engineering and product teams ⢠Collaborate on feature testing, peripheral integrations, and platform expansion ⢠Build internal knowledge about AI-enabled applications
⢠Robot programming proficiency or adjacent software experience ⢠Prior robotics knowledge and hands-on experience with robots ⢠Surface-level fluency in machine learning models and techniques, including convolutional neural networks, object detection, and visual language models ⢠Technical proficiency in an engineering environment ⢠Ability to write documentation and manage projects independently ⢠Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically ⢠At least one specialization in Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, or Machine Vision ⢠Mechanical Design experience with pneumatics, camera mounts, or end-of-arm tooling; gripper design is a bonus ⢠Electrical Design experience with custom board fabrication and wiring relays and solenoids in automation environments ⢠Machine Vision experience selecting cameras and lenses and deploying vision systems ⢠Experience with collaborative robots such as UR, Fanuc, KUKA, ABB, or similar is nice to have ⢠Hands-on work with vision systems such as Cognex, Basler, FLIR, or similar is nice to have ⢠Familiarity with ROS or other robotics middleware is nice to have ⢠Background in manufacturing or industrial automation is nice to have ⢠Startup experience is nice to have ⢠Must be able to work in the U.S.; application asks whether visa sponsorship or transfer is required
