📋 Description

• Identify and recruit exceptional candidates for federal and state office • Partner with AFP state staff and community leaders to assess the political landscape and develop strategies targeting critical public office seats • Advise senior state leadership on candidate recruitment strategies • Cultivate relationships with prospective candidates and inspire them to run for elected office • Connect prospective candidates and key stakeholders to AFP's vision for public policy change • Conduct and facilitate AFP's Candidate School • Drive political recruitment strategy and mentor future policy-aligned leaders

🎯 Requirements

• Substantial, senior-level experience leading political recruitment and/or political campaign work at the federal level • Executive presence and ability to build and maintain relationships with policy-aligned candidates, political leaders, elected officials, and other influential figures • Deep, nuanced understanding of the political landscape and electoral opportunities across a defined region • Established network of potential policy champions and political influencers • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time • Enthusiasm for Stand Together's vision and principled approach • Commitment to transformation, innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect
