📋 Description

• Enforce and support Department of Defense cybersecurity directives, policies, and procedures • Provide vulnerability assessment and proactive vulnerability management services • Maintain the security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of DCAA systems and data • Architect and enforce zero-trust security postures using Microsoft Entra ID • Manage Conditional Access policies, MFA, Identity Protection, and PIM • Administer Microsoft Intune and ensure endpoints meet federal compliance standards • Oversee server and endpoint patching, end-of-life monitoring, and vulnerability action items • Use Microsoft Defender for continuous threat monitoring, alert investigation, automated response, and defense tuning • Ingest and analyze security telemetry with Azure Log Analytics • Write KQL queries to develop detection rules, automated playbooks, alerts, and threat dashboards • Proactively hunt for malware, APTs, and malicious events in cloud infrastructure • Identify, diagnose, and mitigate vulnerabilities related to emerging threats and zero-day exploits • Troubleshoot complex application and server issues using software and hardware diagnostic tools • Respond to federal customer service requests • Interface with the PMO and vendor support groups on Cyber Task Order efforts • Design, build, test, and implement secure systems and architectural improvements • Participate in weekly engineering meetings and advise on mitigation, compliance, and assessment initiatives • Communicate with federal customers and team members, working independently and collaboratively

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s (BS/BA) degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, or a related IT discipline, or an additional four (4) years of direct Cybersecurity/Cloud Computing/IT experience in substitution for a bachelor’s degree • Demonstrated experience working with complex system implementations, operations, and maintaining detailed organizational process documentation • Ability to pass and maintain a high-level federal background investigation • Active CompTIA Security+ certification required prior to start • Must obtain Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200) within a designated timeframe post-employment if not currently possessed • Must obtain Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100) within a designated timeframe post-employment if not currently possessed • Must obtain Microsoft Certified: Cloud and AI Security Engineer Associate (SC-500) within a designated timeframe post-employment if not currently possessed • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Protection, and PIM • Experience administering Microsoft Intune and endpoint security • Experience with Microsoft Defender, Azure Log Analytics, and Kusto Query Language (KQL) • Experience with vulnerability management, threat hunting, incident response, patching, and federal cybersecurity compliance
