📋 Description
• Coordinates the processes for medical staff/advanced practice professional credentialing, privileging, and allied health professional credentialing • Verifies and collects documents that support providers' eligibility for privileges • Processes initial and reappointment applications and privileging requests • Manages provider records for auditing and ensures timely and accurate processing
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting • High school diploma or GED • Knowledge of Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse population • Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
