📋 Description

• Design, implement, configure, and optimize complex IT infrastructure solutions for diverse clients • Deliver project-based deployments and resident engineering engagements • Provide technical expertise during presales activities • Work across networking, storage, cloud, Windows/Linux/VMware operating systems, and security • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise networking, storage, Linux, VMware vSphere, and infrastructure security solutions • Interact with customer technical teams, architects, business stakeholders, internal teams, and external clients • Navigate customer situations, manage expectations, and articulate technical solutions and business value • Identify project risks and technical issues and escalate them to internal teams or vendor support • Contribute to technical deep-dives, proof-of-concept development, solution validation, and statements of work

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance required • Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations as needed • 7+ years of proven experience delivering complex IT infrastructure projects in a senior, customer-facing, billable role, or significant participation in diverse enterprise-level deployments • Deep experience with enterprise networking, including LANs, WANs, routers, switches, and next-generation firewalls • Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise storage, including SAN, NAS, and software-defined storage • Proficiency deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Linux and VMware vSphere environments • Strong practical knowledge of security principles and implementing infrastructure security controls • Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving technical landscapes • Comfortable interacting with customer technical teams, architects, and business stakeholders • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills • Ability to multitask, prioritize demanding workloads, meet deadlines, and manage ambiguity • Ability to identify project risks and escalate technical issues appropriately • Preferred: VCAP-DCV, CCIE, CISSP, RHCA, or equivalent expert-level certifications • Preferred: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP • Preferred: Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, or Python • Preferred: Dedicated resident engineering experience • Preferred: Technical leadership, mentoring, peer reviews, innovative solution design, and ITIL or other service management framework familiarity
