📋 Description

• Ensures accountable decisions are taken at the right level in the organization • Interprets internal/external business environment • Retain, monitor, and manage outside counsel and legal representation of insured • Negotiate settlements and claim resolutions with claimants, third parties and opposing counsel • Manages personal caseload including handling matters involving fraud, forgery, missed liens, access issues, easement disputes and more • Identify and posture resolved claims for recovery or salvage efforts • Performs specialized assignments; solves complex problems and develops non-traditional solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking • Recommends best practices to improve processes or services • Individual contributor working independently; may require guidance in highly complex situations • Occasional travel to and participation in mediations, settlement conferences, claim conferences, etc.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred • Juris Doctorate and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction required • Typically requires 2+ years of related work experience
