📋 Description

• Develop and implement a long-range financial strategy aligned to STI Federal’s organic and inorganic growth goals • Provide executive financial leadership and guidance • Collaborate cross-functionally on forecasting and scenario planning • Maintain project-level pricing, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis • Strengthen financial policies, procedures, governance, internal controls, and audit readiness • Ensure compliance with federal contracting financial requirements and manage financial risk • Oversee accounting functions and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting • Translate accounting outputs into strategic insights • Own financial KPIs and ensure cross-functional alignment supporting growth and project delivery • Drive capital allocation and treasury management strategy • Optimize cash flow, oversee banking relationships, and ensure effective financing structures • Support STI Federal’s mission of driving growth through strategic government contracting and reinvesting profits into tribal businesses or community programs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in federal contracting • Prior experience as a Director of Finance, VP of Finance, CFO, or equivalent senior role • Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or other government contracting financial systems • Ability to obtain and maintain required clearance • Strong strategic thinking and ability to evaluate complex financial scenarios • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate financial insights into actionable guidance • Demonstrated ability to build trust, collaborate effectively, and engage cross-functional teams • Deep knowledge of DCAA, GAAP standards, financial controls, and other federal contracting compliance • Ability to operate effectively in a fractional/part-time leadership capacity • Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration (MBA), or related discipline (preferred) • CPA or CMA certification (preferred) • Experience in tribal enterprises or mission-driven organizations (preferred) • Experience supporting ELT-level strategic operations (preferred)
