📋 Description

• Execute and continuously improve Stord's HSS program across a defined region of fulfillment and warehouse facilities • Translate enterprise standards into consistent site-level execution across regional facilities • Hire, develop, and direct site-level safety and loss prevention professionals • Own regional safety, compliance, and loss prevention performance metrics and trend improvement • Drive loss prevention strategy and shrink reduction, including investigation oversight, security controls, and carrier/vendor accountability • Own regional compliance posture across OSHA, state regulations, and Stord internal standards • Serve as regional decision-maker for incidents, investigations, and regulatory inquiries • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could cause financial loss, operational disruption, or damage to people and assets • Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and develop regional safety and loss prevention professionals • Deploy enterprise safety standards and conduct or oversee facility safety audits, gap assessments, corrective action tracking, and incident investigations • Coordinate peak readiness reviews and represent the region in enterprise safety forums • Oversee theft, fraud, and inventory discrepancy investigations; manage CCTV, access control, and physical security standards • Analyze loss trends and partner with operations, finance, facilities, carriers, vendors, and law enforcement • Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and local regulations; oversee Hazmat compliance and customer-required certifications where applicable • Own regional safety and loss prevention KPIs, reporting, trend analysis, corrective action pipelines, and near-miss/hazard reporting • Lead HSS readiness for new site launches, automation and equipment commissioning, staffing, and program coverage scaling

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in health and safety, loss prevention, or operations compliance • 3+ years of direct people management experience • Multi-site experience in 3PL, eCommerce fulfillment, distribution, or manufacturing environments • Experience in loss prevention investigation, shrink management, or asset protection in a high-volume logistics or retail environment • Working knowledge of OSHA standards, state-specific safety regulations, and compliance program management • Hands-on experience managing CCTV, access control, and inventory protection protocols • Familiarity with incident investigation methodologies and corrective action systems • Comfort with Hazmat regulations and controlled substance handling requirements in a warehouse or fulfillment context • Experience using safety and loss prevention data to drive operational decisions • Must be based in Las Vegas and able to travel 40-50% • ASP, CSP, or equivalent safety certification is preferred or may be actively pursued • Wicklander-Zulawski, Reid Technique, or equivalent interviewing certification preferred • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement background a plus • Familiarity with CTPAT, TAPA, or SOC-related security requirements a plus • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to analyze metrics and translate them into actionable plans • Authorization to work in the U.S. required
