• Support instructional faculty by interacting with students in large online classrooms • Create and implement communication and supplemental instruction methods to support student success • Analyze student activity in discussions and assessments and respond based on training and lead-instructor input • Assist in managing student communications • Escalate unique issues to the lead instructor • Assist with grading and provide feedback • Monitor student engagement and recommend approaches to increase engagement • Provide tutoring, live sessions, and other student support as directed • Assist with student outreach • Help develop supplemental support documents, videos, and job aids • Perform other duties as assigned • Work 25 hours per week supporting the online undergraduate WRK100: Preparing for the Future of Work class • Work required evening and weekend hours, including Saturday and Sunday • Report into key Faculty roles within the designated team
• Professional experience in the field of business is required • Previous teaching experience required • Online teaching experience preferred • Master’s degree in Business or a Business-related field required • Doctorate in Business or a Business-related field preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to interact effectively with faculty, coaches, and learners • Effective time management skills • Relationship-building, customer service, and problem resolution skills • Strong attention to detail, initiative and follow-through • Experience working with a diversity of learning styles • Comfortable using technology to facilitate learning • Ability to access information using a computer • Ability to communicate effectively throughout the management chain • Ability to cope with stressful situations • Good attendance • Strong organizational and time management skills • Strong mental acuity • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship is not available
