• Provide general support and assistance to the selected department • Work on special projects aligned with stated interests and career goals • Support a project to review, update, and standardize job descriptions across the university • Collect and organize existing job descriptions • Review job descriptions for consistency in format, language, and structure • Update job descriptions to reflect current duties, responsibilities, and requirements • Input job description information into the HRIS system • Maintain the job description database and tracking tools • Partner with the Compensation Team, HRBPs, and business leaders • Perform other duties as assigned
• Must be a current National University student who has completed a current FAFSA • Ability to work up to 20 hours per week with a varied schedule • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, required • Experience with HRIS systems preferred • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Excellent time management skills • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions • Ability to complete projects in a timely manner • Strong attention to detail and organization skills • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information • Demonstrated interest in Human Resources, Compensation, or Organizational Design principles and practices • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to maintain accurate, consistent, and reliable data across systems and records • Foundational understanding of human resources policies, procedures, and applicable regulations • Must be eligible for Federal Work Study through a current FAFSA
