📋 Description

• Teach online courses and residencies • Mentor learners and chair or serve on doctoral committees • Facilitate dissertation and doctoral capstone courserooms • Monitor learner progress, provide feedback, and support timely completion • Use course data and feedback to improve teaching and learner experience • Contribute to curriculum and course development, including plans, objectives, outcomes, teaching aids, and assessments • Ensure sensitivity, diversity, and inclusiveness in curriculum design and materials • Participate in school and university governance, faculty committees, meetings, and development activities • Provide peer mentorship and contribute to departmental leadership • Conduct research, maintain scholarly expertise, present at conferences, and publish scholarly work • Provide professional service to students, the institution, the profession, and the community • Support accreditation, program development, learner management, research and advising, and other school priorities • Take on additional assignments and challenging projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Doctoral degree in public health required; all degrees must be conferred and from a regionally accredited institution • Expertise in biostatistics, epidemiology, policy analysis, or program evaluation • Experience conducting and overseeing public health research • Two or more years of teaching experience required • Membership/affiliation in an educational leadership organization at a national, regional, and/or local level • Demonstrated commitment to service and practice in educational leadership • Experience with leadership through team engagement • Evidence of supporting learner success and commitment to quality teaching outcomes • Ability to contribute to diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community • Experience presenting at professional conferences • Experience with scholarly writing and APA 7th edition • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available • Ability to travel occasionally as business needs arise • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Ability to access information using a computer • Required access to a private, reliable remote work setting with internet, phone, computer, and video-conferencing capability
