📋 Description

• Teach online courses in undergraduate BS Business and graduate MBA and MSHRM programs • Provide learner mentoring, support, guidance, and academic progression assistance • Ensure quality educational experiences aligned with course outcomes, HLC standards, and applicable program accreditation standards • Review course data and feedback to improve teaching performance and learner experience • Contribute to course and curriculum design, development, and continuous improvement • Develop course plans, objectives, outcomes, teaching aids, competency-based assessments, and authentic assessment tools • Participate in school and university governance through committees and faculty meetings • Serve as peer mentor and provide mentorship, feedback, and guidance to faculty members • Contribute professional knowledge through service to learners, the institution, the profession, and the community • Maintain scholarly expertise through research, writing, speaking, conference attendance, publishing, and professional development • Take on essential roles and additional duties such as commencement, residencies, faculty development, problem resolution, orientation/mentoring, webinars, and course revisions • Support learner success, accreditation efforts, assessment, program development, and employer-partnership initiatives as assigned • Potentially mentor doctoral learners, chair or serve on dissertation/doctoral capstone committees, and facilitate dissertation or capstone courserooms

🎯 Requirements

• Three or more years teaching in an online setting is required • Experience teaching in higher education is required • Experience writing curriculum is required • An earned PhD in any business-related field or a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is required • All degrees must be conferred and from a regionally accredited institution • Copies of required certificates and licenses and unofficial transcripts for all graduate degrees with the institution and conferred degree and date must be attached • Must be able to travel occasionally; generally 5–10% for university events • If offsite or hybrid, access to a suitable remote work setting with privacy, reliable internet, phone, and video conferencing • Must be able to meet critical thinking and problem solving aspects aligned to job duties • Effective communication with co-workers • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Able to access information using a computer • Preferred: experience supporting accreditation, program review, curriculum assessment, or continuous-improvement activities in higher education • Preferred: membership/affiliation in a professional organization • Preferred: commitment to professional service and practice in the applicable business discipline • Preferred: experience with leadership through team engagement • Preferred: evidence of supporting learner success and commitment to quality teaching outcomes • Preferred: ability to contribute to academic community excellence and continuous improvement • Preferred: professional conference presentation experience • Preferred: scholarly writing and academic citation/formatting experience
