📋 Description

• Provide instructional and academic support to learners through 1:1 coaching and consultation, instructional materials and resources, and office hours or group study sessions • Build an online community that supports learning and continuous improvement • Create text, video, and technology-based learning resources • Lead and comment in courseroom discussions • Plan and facilitate optional weekly interactive, collaborative study and review sessions • Assess learning and comprehension through course competency evaluations, informal assessments, and formal rubric-based evaluations • Keep current with technologies including Civitas, Outlook, and Kaltura • Maintain adequate learner records • Check into the courseroom on weekends • Participate in training, team meetings, and learner appointments during some regular business hours

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with teaching or tutoring • 1-3 years teaching experience at the graduate level, in an online environment • Completed Master’s degree from a regionally accredited College or University required • Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst required • All degrees must be conferred and from a regionally accredited institution • Copies of required certificates and licenses and unofficial transcripts for all graduate degrees must be attached • Self-motivated and highly organized • Advocate of social media and mobile technology • Ability to embrace technological and pedagogical methodology changes • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated effective time management skills • Excellent relationship-building, customer service, and problem resolution skills • Demonstrated strong attention to detail, initiative and follow-through • Knowledge of adult learning theory and practices • Ability to assess individual and group learning needs and explain concepts in different ways • Experience working with a diversity of learning styles • Comfortable using technology to facilitate learning • Must be able to travel 10% of time • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available
