📋 Description

• Build and manage a qualified portfolio of foundation, corporate, and government prospects • Create funder-specific dossiers covering giving history, program priorities, decision-makers, and cultivation timelines • Apply moves management from prospect identification through qualification and solicitation • Source new relationship pathways through LinkedIn and funder networks • Maintain a forward-looking grant tracking system for revenue forecasting • Own end-to-end submission of proposals, LOIs, and funder reports • Write and submit 3 to 5 tailored funding applications weekly • Build and maintain the Master Proposal library • Partner with finance on grant budgets and budget narratives • Produce weekly pipeline reports and maintain a master deadline calendar • Surface deadline risks and resourcing gaps • Translate outcomes and evidence into funder-ready narratives with program and finance teams • Lead adoption of AI tools to improve research and drafting velocity • Report to the Chief Development Officer and work closely with the CEO

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of institutional fundraising experience, with grant writing and prospect research as core disciplines • Ideally experience in workforce development, education, or economic mobility • Track record of proposals that convert • Comfortable being measured on win rate and dollars raised • Sophisticated prospect research instincts and experience using LinkedIn, funder databases, and public philanthropic data • Experience building and defending grant budgets alongside a finance team • Fluency in a CRM and project management tool; Salesforce and Asana preferred • Experience building a fundraising system • Strong command of funder voice and ability to align organizational priorities with program officer evaluation criteria • Availability during core U.S. Eastern business hours • Ability to work independently as a remote consultant • Demonstrated fluency using AI tools to automate prospect research and build an efficient grant workflow • Ability to describe a specific AI-enabled workflow built or used
