📋 Description

• Deliver specific course content in an online environment • Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences • Personalize learning and differentiate instruction based on student mastery • Augment course content using approved synchronous and asynchronous tools • Maintain the grade book and uphold student academic integrity • Make student placement and promotion decisions • Alert administrators to concerns about student performance and progress • Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests • Establish and maintain positive rapport with families • Communicate with and respond to students and learning coaches/parents in a timely manner • Support learning coaches/parents with curricular, instructional, and basic virtual-classroom troubleshooting issues • Monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system • Travel as required for professional development, student testing, and school functions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • Active Oklahoma High School Science Teaching Certification • Active state teaching license • Must reside in Oklahoma • Ability to clear required background check • 0–1 year of related professional experience • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday • Experience working with the proposed age group desired • Experience supporting adults and children with technology desired • Experience teaching online or in a brick-and-mortar environment desired • Experience with online learning platforms desired • Ability to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic student-data representations • Ability to use student data to drive instructional decisions • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms • Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours • Fluency in K12 systems, programs, and curriculum
