📋 Description

• Partner with teachers and campus leadership to cultivate high-impact instructional practices that increase student learning and achievement • Provide 1:1 and small group coaching cycles based on PLC and planning support, walkthrough data, observations, and campus needs • Conduct semester goal check-ins with assigned teachers and adjust support as needed • Meet with administrators to align coaching focus areas with campus instructional priorities • Analyze data and determine coaching targets with campus leadership • Support alignment between instructional expectations, curriculum implementation, and professional learning initiatives • Collaborate with teachers to strengthen TEKS alignment, learning targets, and assessment alignment • Support lesson internalization, including unpacking standards, anticipating misconceptions, and identifying exemplar responses • Facilitate lesson internalization opportunities and support instructional delivery, questioning strategies, pacing, and checks for understanding • Design differentiated instruction for at-risk and educationally disadvantaged students • Facilitate PLC meetings focused on TEKS alignment, lesson internalization, differentiation, and rigorous instructional design • Guide teams in developing aligned lesson plans using Depth of Knowledge questioning and standards-based strategies • Support analysis of student work and formative data to inform instructional adjustments • Model best instructional practices through co-planning, feedback, and reflective dialogue • Develop and curate instructional resources aligned to curriculum maps and district expectations • Provide targeted support to teachers new to virtual instruction • Support virtual lesson delivery, student engagement, and digital classroom management • Perform other duties as assigned in alignment with the State Compensatory Education program • No formal supervisory responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Active Math State Teaching License • Residency in Texas; residents of surrounding states (New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, or Louisiana) may be considered • Bachelor’s degree • Three (3) years of relevant experience • Proficiency with Office 365 including Outlook, Word and Excel; web-based tools, and data systems • Flexible schedule • Ability to travel up to 5% • Ability to clear required background check • Experience in virtual or distance learning environments (desired) • Background in academic leadership, curriculum design, or intervention (desired) • Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes for at-risk learners (desired) • Experience facilitating PLCs or coaching teachers (desired) • Familiarity with State, Federal, and SCE program requirements (desired)
