📋 Description

• Learn and communicate how Metronome solves challenges in modern monetization stacks • Assist in planning, building, and running customized Metronome demos for engineering, product, operations, finance, and other buyer personas • Use discovery to understand prospect challenges • Travel to meet prospects at workshops, conferences, and on-sites • Help land deals for software startups and enterprise SaaS companies • Own knowledge areas, projects, tools, and market segments within Solutions Engineering • Run Proofs of Concept with clearly defined success criteria • Represent Solutions Engineering as an independent deal-team member • Handle technical scoping to set customers up for post-sales success • Build relationships with prospect stakeholders from operators to C-suite executives • Design Metronome integrations into prospect systems • Advise on pricing and packaging and influence customer direction

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience working in technical and/or customer-facing roles involving SaaS products • Academic background in a technical area with high EQ is sought after • Exceptional communication skills across technical, go-to-market, and finance stakeholders • Ability to learn quickly, adapt on the fly, and operate in fast-moving startup environments • Interest in building and improving GTM playbooks and processes • Preferred: Knowledge of quote-to-cash, including Salesforce, NetSuite, and CPQs • Preferred: Experience as a software engineer, product manager, or other technical role • Preferred: Experience in a pure sales role, particularly selling to technical buyers or as a founding/early salesperson at a startup • Preferred: Experience with logs, metrics, billing, finance, infrastructure, or financial tooling and concepts
