📋 Description

• Direct cross-functional teams driving regional, operating unit, or system initiatives, strategies, issue resolutions, and alignment across Sutter Health • Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee three or more concurrent, long-term and complex projects • Develop project work plans and establish project communication and risk management plans • Redesign workflow processes and develop and measure metrics • Conduct return-on-investment analysis • Assign project tasks to designated team members • Oversee the work of other Project Managers and Project Coordinators • Operate independently under broad policy guidelines and exercise expert authority over assigned projects • Use Project Management Institute tools and standards to keep projects on track, complete deliverables, and integrate projects with other initiatives • Guide virtual health programs and projects using knowledge of telehealth policy and regulation • Collaborate with executive leaders, sponsors, operations, medical groups, service lines, informatics, and digital teams

🎯 Requirements

• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma • Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration, public health administration, or another related field, or equivalent experience • 8 years of recent relevant experience • Thorough knowledge of project management processes, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, issues management, time management, financial management, quality management, monitoring and reporting, documentation, and record keeping • Significant business background sufficient to understand project and industry operations and technical issues • Ability to anticipate and identify obstacles and make accurate decisions and recommendations • Ability to direct, monitor, train, coach, and assign work to project staff • Ability to work effectively with people from different disciplines and experience levels • Clear, concise, and tactful communication skills with management, vendors, peers, and staff • Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change • Ability to plan and facilitate meetings • Thorough knowledge of Lean management systems • Ability to gain cooperation and support through influence and persuasion • Conceptual, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and actionable-recommendation skills • Working knowledge of telehealth policy and regulation • Healthcare systems knowledge, including clinical operations, care delivery models, and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and CMS • Virtual Care experience with telehealth platforms, remote monitoring, and digital health trends • Certifications in digital health, telemedicine, or healthcare leadership such as CPHIMS, FACHE, CMPE, or Telehealth Certification Institute credentials are ideal
