📋 Description

• Develop and manage monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-term financial planning • Create and maintain predictable and accurate financial models • Develop and prepare automated monthly reporting packages with financial metrics, KPIs, ratios, charts, graphs, dashboards, and other data visualization tools • Develop an in-depth understanding of key business drivers and unit economics, particularly for SaaS businesses • Conduct performance, forecast, and financial metric reviews with the leadership team • Recommend actions to improve operating and capital efficiency and business profitability • Drive actuals-versus-forecast variance analysis, identifying causes of change and highlighting risks and opportunities • Use AI and data-driven analysis to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency • Coordinate with management to gather inputs and provide performance analysis and management reporting • Highlight key business performance risks, issues, and opportunities • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted partner for forecasting, strategic analysis, and ad hoc analysis/reporting • Support analyses on project profitability, pricing, and ROI of new product and program initiatives • Collaborate with the Accounting Team on the monthly close and reporting process • Use AI to create, iterate, and scale automated models to supplement and replace manual processes • Deliver accurate and timely information for investors, board members, and internal stakeholders • Guide the executive team in making sound financial decisions and identify cost savings and inefficiencies

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7+ years of progressively responsible experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, or related fields, with demonstrated experience in analysis, forecasting, and modeling • Technology / SaaS and high-growth mid-to-late-stage start-up or public company experience strongly preferred • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields and MBA or equivalent graduate degree are a strong plus • Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets and Excel, including arrays, Power Query, dynamic pivot tables, and external integration • Basic SQL knowledge strongly preferred • Advanced ability to use AI to integrate technology FP&A/accounting platforms, including Drivetrain, Zenskar, Google Sheets/Excel, NetSuite, and Tipalti, into core finance workflows • Ability to deliver quality analyses, forecasts, models, and data visualization for board-level financial/strategic storytelling • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high standards of accuracy and precision and extreme attention to detail • Ability to think creatively, remain highly driven and organized, and be self-motivated • Ability to embrace ambiguity and break down complex problems into clear and effective executive summaries with key insights and recommendations • Impeccable analytical skills and intellectual curiosity to understand drivers and outcomes • Strong work ethic and ability/willingness to manage multiple project timelines and pivot as priorities change • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to establish credibility, build consensus, and partner cross-functionally without direct authority • Qualified applicants must be considered in a manner consistent with SFPC Art.49 regarding criminal histories
