📋 Description

• Prepare accounting schedules in Excel, including reserves for doubtful accounts and employee bonuses • Prepare depreciation and amortization schedules, including prepaid assets • Prepare salespeople variable compensation schedules • Assist with client invoice preparation • Assist with accounts receivable accounting and collections • Assist with recurring finance functions including payroll, insurance, financial filings, audit, month-end close, accounts receivable, and accounts payable • Prepare financial analyses in Excel under the Head of Finance’s guidance • Assist with budget and forecast updates • Assist with cap table and equity management • Assist with preparation for board meetings and board consents • Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, COO, Financial Controller, and Head of Finance • Handle sensitive information with discretion, trust-building, and professionalism • Identify workflow optimization opportunities and implement operational systems • Perform ad hoc operations, finance, and accounting tasks

🎯 Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience as a junior finance assistant, financial analyst, accounting assistant, controller assistant, or similar role • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or similar • Ability to work well with diverse groups in team settings • Ability to operate autonomously and take initiative with minimal supervision • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities • Proactive, resourceful, and calm under pressure • Analytical, logical, and data-driven approach • Tech-savvy and able to quickly adapt to new tools and platforms • Basic understanding of accounting concepts and principles, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Accounts Receivable Aging, Debits and Credits, Journal Entries, Reserves, and Accruals • Knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets • Basic experience using QuickBooks Online • Experience with Ramp and/or payroll platforms such as TriNet, ADP, or JustWorks is helpful but not required
