📋 Description

• Develop program-specific sourcing plans for assigned NPI, retrofit, and cross-functional initiatives. • Guide project teams on sourcing strategy and provide sourcing information throughout development. • Represent procurement in engineering and program management activities and recurring program meetings. • Manage and escalate financial risks, opportunities, and value-engineering opportunities. • Manage execution risks and direct purchase-order execution by Sourcing Operations. • Partner with category buyers and strategic commodity leaders on requirements, supplier capacity, and pricing agreements. • Drive engineering toward approved vendor lists and preferred, qualified suppliers. • Incorporate aftersales and total-lifecycle considerations into development-phase sourcing decisions. • Provide supplier quotes and should-cost data for cost-model creation and estimating. • Manage multiple concurrent NPI, retrofit, and procurement-impacted programs. • Facilitate communication among engineering, program management, buyers, and suppliers. • Identify and escalate material and supply risks with recommended resolutions. • Report procurement status, risk, schedule, and cost metrics to stakeholders. • Support transition from development to steady-state Sourcing Operations ownership.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. • Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or program/project management. • Experience in automation, robotics, material handling, or a related industry ideally. • Experience partnering with cross-functional engineering and program management teams during new product development. • Strong understanding of sourcing strategy, category management, and purchase order execution processes. • Ability to manage multiple concurrent programs and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. • Strong communication and relationship-management skills across engineering, procurement, and supplier partners. • Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP preferred. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred. • Valid driver's license and ability to drive and/or fly to client and customer locations. • Ability to accommodate up to 10–20% travel. • Flexibility to align with project meeting schedules.
