📋 Description

• Create, complete, and optimize vision system recipes for inspection of pharmaceutical injectable medicines • Work with COC on artificial intelligence technologies and custom vision applications • Perform machine installations, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, modifications, and particle sensor parameter setup • Support pharmaceutical packaging and inspection equipment • Support Factory Acceptance Testing with customers at Syntegon facilities in Japan, Germany, and Denmark • Perform vision tuning and instruct new technicians/engineers on tuning standards • Work on artificial intelligence integration and vision integrations • Perform machine installation and support customers with Site Acceptance Testing • Guide customers in providing samples to develop machine vision recipes and achieve defect detection targets with minimal false rejection • Train customer staff on operation and maintenance of inspection, packaging, and assembly machines • Perform on-site preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical machine issues • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding machine function and satisfaction • Teach vision training classes at customer sites • Perform PC repairs and upgrades at customer sites • Provide phone support for machine operational issues • Generate service visit summaries and technical reports

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science/Engineering Degree or a combination of education and relevant job experience • Minimum of one year of application experience using Vision Systems; Halcon or Cognex preferred • Driver’s License • Passport or ability to acquire a passport • Ability to lift items up to 30 pounds, maneuver equipment for placement, bend down, and work within lower areas of machines • Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends • Willingness to travel approximately 75% domestically and occasionally internationally
