📋 Description

• Install, commission, configure, and validate laboratory water purification systems at customer facilities • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, calibrations, software updates, and operational verification • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures • Replace defective components and perform corrective maintenance • Complete service reports, calibration documentation, expense reports, and administrative paperwork • Generate quotations for billable repairs, maintenance agreements, validation services, consumables, and system upgrades • Manage preventative maintenance agreement opportunities and identify renewal opportunities • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams • Train customers on system operation and maintenance practices • Respond to emergency service requests • Build and maintain customer relationships • Maintain company-issued tools, test equipment, inventory, and vehicle • Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory safety policies • Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call support schedule • Collaborate with Technical Support and Engineering on complex technical issues and product improvements • Participate in ongoing product training and professional development • Assist other departments within the service organization

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical Technology, Mechanical Technology, another related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant field service experience • Minimum of two years of field service experience installing, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment • Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel • Previous experience servicing laboratory water purification systems highly preferred • Experience servicing biomedical, medical diagnostic, analytical laboratory, pharmaceutical, or life science instrumentation highly desirable • Experience with reverse osmosis, deionization, ultraviolet disinfection systems, water purification technologies, water treatment equipment, or laboratory instrumentation advantageous • Experience performing equipment validation, calibration, preventative maintenance, and equipment qualification • Knowledge of laboratory, pharmaceutical, healthcare, research, or biotechnology environments • Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical service documentation • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Salesforce
