📋 Description

• Install, commission, service, and support BEUMER conveying systems and equipment • Provide supervision and excellence for system installation and support • Perform and train others in maintenance, troubleshooting, monitoring, and reporting • Understand customer requirements and translate them into system operational and functional requirements • Access and troubleshoot electro-mechanical components, IO cabling, and network components • Communicate with customers and internal technical resources to resolve issues • Prepare accurate and timely written reports of operational and maintenance issues • Interpret data and recommend maintenance schedule or activity adjustments • Operate systems and components to demonstrate equipment and analyze malfunctions • Inspect, determine, oversee, and perform corrective, emergency, and preventative maintenance • Analyze findings, determine problem sources, and recommend repairs, replacements, or other corrective actions • Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel • Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams • Repair equipment using electronics knowledge, standard test instruments, and hand tools • Consult engineering personnel to resolve unusual system operation and maintenance problems • Supervise workers installing, testing, tuning, and adjusting equipment • Prepare detailed service reports and as-built documentation • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, technical courses of study, or equivalent combinations of experience and training • Demonstrated capability and experience in technical disciplines and maintenance operations • Demonstrated capability and experience maintaining and troubleshooting bulk conveying systems and industrial equipment • Experience with heavy conveyors, belting and drive systems, electro-mechanical systems and preventative maintenance • Ability to work as part of a project team • Ability to use computer-based tools for communication, troubleshooting, and programming • Ability to quickly acquire technical skills for new materials handling technologies • Ability to mentor and teach maintenance and operational personnel • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure • Ability to read schematics and diagrams • Strong understanding of industrial power, electrical and control circuits and devices • Strong PC skills, including Windows, Word, Excel, and remote capabilities • Good time management • Good communication skills, both verbal and written • Demonstrated expertise in bulk conveying experience and CMMS experience a plus • Must be able and willing to travel up to 80% of the time • Long-term commitment, ability to set and meet goals, and willingness and ability to excel
