📋 Description

• Develop and execute processes and strategies enabling supply planning with supplier partners • Plan and control inventory needs and efficient ordering methods • Collaborate internally and externally to improve supplier fill rate, inventory leveling, service levels, KPIs, and customer experience • Direct suppliers where to ship supply • Partner cross-functionally with Commercial teams regarding inventory shortages and supply chain issues • Execute processes to improve inbound operational metrics • Design policies and supplier scorecards tracking metrics and KPIs • Collect supplier information and create coordination processes driving Supply Chain KPI improvements • Design supplier effectiveness metrics and methods to improve fill rate and customer experience • Oversee systems and reporting that produce actionable supply-planning insights • Lead and sponsor systems development to increase utilization and automate processes • Monitor supplier compliance and develop controls, issue identification, and remediation processes • Identify manual processing and data collection for transactional automation • Drive issue and escalation resolution for assigned suppliers, including RDC redistribution fulfillment, supplier fulfillment, seasonal planning, and excess inventory management • Communicate actions and bottom-line benefits to stakeholders • Maintain collaborative relationships with Commercial, GSC Merchandising, Field Operations, Business Technology, Field Merchandising, SBS, Finance, business unit leadership, and executive leadership teams • Provide vision and direction to stakeholders across the organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or six years’ experience in foodservice, wholesale or retail inventory management roles • Five years of wholesale, foodservice distribution or retail distribution experience • Minimum of 4 years management experience with multiple direct reports • Six years’ experience in lieu of Bachelor’s • In-depth knowledge of the function, business strategies, company goals, and external factors impacting Purchase Cost Variance Management • Advanced analytical and communication skills • Negotiation skills • Ability to work effectively in a heavily matrixed environment • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States • Ability to travel up to 5 percent of the time
