📋 Description

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and provide developmentally appropriate, evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, caregivers, and families • Help families identify barriers, build skills, set realistic goals, and shape home routines supporting sustainable health behavior change • Deliver culturally responsive, respectful, stigma-free weight-related care • Address body image, self-esteem, stigma, bullying, anxiety, and mood concerns related to weight and health • Screen for significant anxiety, depression, disordered eating, emotional eating, and related concerns • Coordinate referrals or escalation when additional care is needed • Maintain timely, accurate documentation supporting continuity of care, medical necessity, and payer requirements • Collaborate with physicians, registered dietitians, and care coordinators in an integrated care team • Provide virtual visits with children, adolescents, and parents, jointly or individually • Participate in longitudinal care and ongoing family relationships • Coordinate brief between-session check-ins and care team activities

🎯 Requirements

• Independently licensed behavioral health clinician as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent; associate-level or provisional licenses are not eligible • Willing to obtain additional state licenses or practice privileges as needed • Current and complete CAQH profile • 3+ years providing behavioral health care to children, adolescents, and families • Training in at least one relevant evidence-based approach, such as motivational interviewing, CBT, or family-based treatment • Experience with pediatric overweight or obesity, or in integrated health settings • Experience screening for and addressing disordered eating, emotional eating, and body image concerns in children or adolescents • Comfortable conducting telehealth risk assessment and safety planning with children and adolescents, including coordinating local crisis resources when needed • Experience and comfort delivering care via telehealth • Nice to have: licenses in multiple states or a Counseling Compact privilege • Nice to have: experience with Medicaid-insured families • Nice to have: Spanish or other non-English language proficiency
